Not Your Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

Not Your Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

While hyaluronic acid has certainly made its way as one of the top ingredients in today's skin care market, you might want to ask yourself, “What is this all about and do I need it?” or “What should I look for in a really outstanding hyaluronic acid serum?”.
20 Years of Lactic Acid

20 Years of Lactic Acid

What a fun ride this was! On 2/22/22 we relaunched Lactic Acid after 20 years in existence. This is third-generation lactic acid and I could not be more proud of it. All the original principles and intention of this formula remains the same, but now we have incorporated the latest technology in order to make something good and iconic even better.

So what has changed since the very first introduction of lactic acid to the market 20 years ago? For starters, the quality of raw acid materials is better than ever. Lactic acid is the most researched alpha hydroxy acid on the market so now we get to use a super purified version. To the mix, we’ve introduced super hydrators, like tramela mushroom and hyaluronic acid and added other acids to tackle discoloration & congested skin. For the love of technological advancements, we’ve replaced botanicals that existed in our previous formula with Palmitoyl Tripeptide - 8 to reduce redness, irritation and for overall protection against puffy, inflamed skin.

All other principles of Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum remain intact - While the hard-at-work acids refine the skin, you will only feel the luxurious hydrating and plumping benefits. We’ve created the perfect balance of acids where the PH is guaranteed to perform as a stand-alone supercharged serum, or it can be safely layered with retinols, other acids and vitamin C. I give credit for the evolution of this formula to the hundreds of clinic clients who have used this serum for the past 20 years! This love affair continues today. You’ve come a long way, baby!
